Charoza Farm, a wholly owned Kenyan farm has been in existence for the past 12 years having been established in year 2000 as a family business entity. The farm is located within the tea growing zone of Limuru – Kiambu County, 5kms from Limuru Town along the Limuru – Nazareth Hospital road. The farm is exactly 500m from Mabroukie Tea factory. The Farm started from a humble beginning as a small scale tea farm with the sole dream of diversifying into commercial farming. Year after year, the family ploughed back the farm proceeds and utilized their savings to diversify their farming and today, Charoza prides itself as one of the most reliable mid-sized mixed farm in Limuru division with a range of fresh green produce and healthy livestock. The farm is managed by Rosalind Njeri, who oversees the day to day operations of the farm. By virtue of her passion in farming, she is a member of Limuru Dairy Farmers Society, a tea outgrower of Mabroukie and Maramba Tea Estates and a contracted pig farmer by Farmers Choice Limited. She has over 30 years experience in farming and farm management.

- Rosalind WaweruMD
Rosalind Waweru, the Managing director of the farm oversees the day to day operations of the farm which includes management of the farm’s staff. Rosalind is a retired teacher by profession with a Bachelors degree in Education (science) having specialized in botany and zoology from Kenyatta University. By virtue of her passion in farming, she is a member of Limuru Dairy Farmers Society, a tea outgrower of Mabroukie and Maramba Tea Estates and a contracted pig farmer of Farmers Choice Limited. She has a great wealth of experience in farming having managed Charoza Farm for the past 12 years.
